2008 Melbourne Fringe Festival

The Melbourne Fringe Festival is the largest annual celebration of independent arts in Victoria. The Festival is entirely open access, meaning that artists are responsible for the creation and presentation of their own events.

This is one of Australia's most authentic reflections of contemporary arts practice due to the inclusive, open access approach and our ability to attract an impressive line up of emerging artists alongside established artists experimenting with content, form and presentation.
